Last October 17, the digital version of the monograph Les àmfores gregues a Ibèria. Novetats arqueològiques i estat actual de la recerca was presented at the Barcelona headquarters of the Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya, on the occasion of the celebration of the scientific conferences on “Greek trade in the Mediterranean in Antiquity. The transport amphorae” held on October 17 and 18. The book presents current state of research on Greek trade in the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands through the Greek amphorae documented in the different archaeological sites of Iberia (8th-2nd centuries BC). It consists of 21 articles and 40 researchers belonging to 26 international scientific institutions have participated. This is the first general work of this type of pottery containers in the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
