Between April 5 and August 11, 2019, you can visit the exhibition “Luxury. From the Assyrians to Alexandre the Great” at the headquarters of CaixaFòrum in Barcelona. The sample includes a selection of objects of important value, dated between 900 and 300 BC, from the British Museum funds. It deals with ivories, jewels, reliefs, glass, gold and metals objects found in the territories of the ancient Assyrian, Babylonian, Phoenician and Persian empires that were part of it, from the second half of the 4th century BC, of the great Greek empire created by Alexandre the Great.
