New documentation works for the Document Database of the Iberia Graeca Center

Between September 18 and November 18, thanks to the hiring of three documentalists archaeologists, it has been possible to make 525 record cards of Greek materials that have been incorporated into the Document Database of the Iberia Graeca website. Of these record cards, 239 correspond to Greek pottery from the archaeological sites in the province of Alicante (El Molar, El Oral and La Escuera of San Fulgencio, El Puig and La Serreta of Alcoy, La Fonteta of Guardamar de Segura, La Vila Joiosa of Alicante, El Penyal d’Ifac of Calpe and La Cova de Pinta of Callosa d’en Sarrià) and 234 archaeological sites in the province of Valencia (Los Villares of Caudete de las Fuentes, Covalta of Albaida, Sagunto, Castellet de Bernabé of Llíria, Puntal dels Llops of Olocau and Valencia city). In addition, 52 record cards of unique Greek objects from different peninsular sites have been introduced -Empúries (Girona), Mas Castellar de Pontós (Girona), Los Royos (Murcia), Tabla de las Cañas (Badajoz), Ría de Huelva, Jumilla (Murcia),…- Currently, the Document Database has 10,840 record cars of objects from 2,255 contexts of 466 archaeological sites, with 1,582 bibliographic references related to them.
