The City Council of l’Escala (Alt Empordà, Girona) has announced the “1st Autumn International Research Bursary” in the fields of social and natural sciences, which will be awarded to the best project presented whose theme is related to l’Escala and its immediate territory. In the municipal area of l’Escala is the archaeological site of the ancient Greco-Roman city of Emporion/Emporiae, as well as other sites of enormous interest. The scholarship, endowed with 2,500 euros, allows a three-month stay (between September and December 2023) at the Casa dels Forestals residence in Sant Martí d’Empúries, where the Iberia Graeca headquarters are also located. The applications submission deadline is July 10th. The terms and conditions of the scholarship can be consulted in Catalan, Spanish, French and English on the official website of the City Council of l’Escala.
